The Soweto Home for the aged has been open and caring for our elderly for over 30 years. The home runs mainly on donations and voluntary work which can make the general running of this organization very difficult at times. The home cares for the destitute, the homeless and the aged with mental and physical disabilities, and is currently looking after 122 elderly persons.

The Soweto home for the age is under severe financial stress at the moment, and is struggling to pay their bills which keeps the elderly warm, fed and housed.  

With your help and support we can impact the lives of many destitute elderly and the aged with special needs.

The Soweto home is currently liable for very high food and electricity bills that if not paid, will result in the electricity being cut, leaving the aged in the dark and without food. There are persons within this institution that requires special medical and nutritional care and without electricity might not be able to survive.

With your help The Soweto home for the aged will be able to keep the electricity on and carry on caring for its 122 elderly persons.
